Flash mob

 

 

불특정 다수인이 정해진 시간과 장소에 모여 주어진 행동을 하고 곧바로 흩어지는 것.

 플래시몹은 갑자기 접속자가 폭증한다는 뜻의 플래시크라우드(flashcrowd)와

 참여 군중을 뜻하는 스마트몹(smartmob)의 합성어로,

2002년 10월에 출간된 하워드 라인골드의 저서 '참여 군중'에 기원을 두고 있다.

 플래시 모버(flashmober)들의 이러한 행동은 단지 의미 없는 행위가 재미있기 때문에 즐긴다는 즉, 무목적이 목적이라고 한다.

 

These are two performances made at Segels Torg and the Central Station

(a third installment is planned to happen at Stureplan at 23.00 tonight). 
The dance collective Bounce came up with the idea and invited the public to a short choreographed session before hitting the streets.
